The Tijuca National Park is a protected Brazilian park entirely located in the city of Rio de Janeiro. Among the attractions of the park, trails, caves and waterfalls are famous landmarks such as Sugar Loaf, Corcovado, and the Tijuca Peak. The highest point of the park rises 1022 meters above see level in mountainous terrain. It is administered by the Chico Mendes Institute for Biodiversity Conservation (ICMBio).
