Pantanal Recommended Tours
There are several ways to experience the Pantanal, the largest wetlands in the world. We highly recommend a boat tour through the area. Canoes, rowboats or motor boats are all delightful modes of transportation. Try and take one of the quieter boats as you will have a better chance to get closer to the wildlife. Hiking along the edges of the wetlands is another wonderful experience as you are at the edge of both worlds, the rainforest and the waterways. Horseback tours are another highly recommended activity as visitors are able to penetrate where boats cannot. Night safaris are especially fun and the animals tend to be more active searching for food.
