You dont go to Rio Scenarium just for the food. While it’s great, most people go for the atmosphere.  Iit’s high energy all the way. There’s dancing and singing throughout the night. Get ready when you step through the doors, because Rio Scenarium is not a place to relax. Instead, it’s a place where you and your friends go to party. While you’re there, you’ll want to sample their imported beers and salted snacks. Located on a street filled with antique shops, this bar seems to never slow down; it’s party central throughout the night.

I was there with a friend during the Carnival in February and was not sure what to really expect. It took a while to get there as streets are so crowded in Lapa during carnival, but this is one of the places that will take you back in time and you will be able to experience great music and awesome people. I saw 20 year old and 80 year old girls dancing next to each other while equaly enjoying the live band on the main floor. There are couple of halls that also feature live music. One had a chamber ensmble, flute and guitars and it felt like I was in a movie. It's a must go. Try to eat the steak at one of the restaurants outside.
