Pontapé fans like to call this bar Rio’s best kept secret. It’s not yet overrun to the point of being uncomfortable. Yet it very well could be. On Tuesdays through Saturdays, there is 20 hours of exciting live music. There are also many great snacks, in generous portions. The beers are largely imported, with a heavy emphasis on German beers. The clientele here tends to be youth-oriented, but all ages are welcomed and treated like royalty. You’ll truly feel like you’ve had a special night after your visit to Pontapé.
