Seventy Years of Othon
Beginning in 1943, Othon hotels have grown to have a diverse portfolio of more than 2,000 rooms in 28 properties including five brands in Brazil, Portugal and the USA. The Aeroporto Othon is the first Othon hotel in Rio that opened to the public in 1944. The group now has seven hotels established in the Copacabana beach area in Rio alone with the Olinda Othon Hotel being the first to be built at Copacabana.
