They are usually located in affluent neighborhoods where there are gourmet restaurants, couture boutiques and shopping centers.
Specialty Apartments
There are many apartments where you pay for the view. Some are on the beach with lovely views of the surf. Others look out over the mountains or sit beside a lake. Expect to pay extra for those rental properties with a spectacular view. Other apartments can be more expensive depending on the location. An apartment on Ipanema beach will be more expensive than the same apartment a few blocks away. The same is true for an apartment on a golf course versus an apartment on a residential street.
